How is the fit?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.

How comfy are they?
They required minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also be smart.

They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in.
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
